We're looking for a full-time Reconciliation Analyst to join Team Mavis at our Operations Support Center in Millwood, New York.
With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is the fifth largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.
About the Position of Reconciliation Analyst This position will need to utilize Microsoft Dynamics, Office, and internal applications to analyze open items from vendor statements, reconcile discrepancies, and work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments.
An individual within this position must be able to leverage an advanced understanding of Mavis's EDI, Inventory, and Accounting systems to diagnose issues preventing the automatic payment of invoices.
They will also need to effectively summarize these issues and drive resolution to existing gaps.
Qualifications Experience with the following Applications/Systems:
- SQL Server Management Studio - Dynamics 365 (Not required, but preferred) Have experience with inventory accounting procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Job Duties and Responsibilities Use problem-solving and auditing skills to identify any breaks or discrepancies within our process Convey discrepancies or issues within our process flow to management Convey discrepancies or issues with any vendor invoices to management Communicate these discrepancies to the Vendor when needed Utilize experience gained to suggest solutions to any issues identified Record identified issues and follow through to verify resolution is found Employee Benefits At Mavis, we understand that our people drive our success.
